Services & Fees
The following is a schedule of fees for any work carried out in the Greater Sydney Metropolitan Region on registered pools and spas. Please note that there are additional costs associated with pools where rectification work is required, and that Pool Certification Sydney is required by law to receive payment in advance of any services provided in its capacity as an accredited E-1 Certifier of pools and spas. An on-site inspection should take between 30 and 45 minutes.

For pools/spas where no rectification work is required:
For privately owned pools/spas incl. issue of Compliance Certificate – $395.00 plus GST
For shared pools/spas e.g. apartment block incl. issue of Compliance Certificate – $445.00 plus GST
For pools/spas where rectification work is required:
Comprehensive pool/spa compliance/non-compliance inspection with a full photographic report with recommendations to make your pool legally compliant complete with options:
For privately owned pools/spas – $395.00 plus GST
For shared pools/spas (i.e. in an apartment block) – $445.00 plus GST
Re-inspection to check that all previously nominated rectification works are now compliant and the issue of a pool/spa compliance certificate
For privately owned pools/spas – $245.00 plus GST
For shared pools/spas – $295.00 plus GST
Note 1: An additional fee of $50.00 plus GST will be charged for travel by road of more than 40 km from the Kensington PO.
Note 2: An additional fee of $100.00 plus GST will be charged for urgent pool inspections and certificates required for the same or next day.
Note 3: An additional fee of $175.00 p/h plus GST will be charged if assistance is required with a Council pool inspection, a Notice of Direction issued by a Council or to project manage the pool barrier rectification process through to completion.
Note 4: Pool Certifiers holding an appropriate Building Contractors Licence are permitted to carry out pool / spa rectification work up to the value of $1,000 per pool. Pool Certification Sydney will offer to provide a written quotation for work to that value for consideration. The Building Contractors Licence held by John Denoon is No. 13630C.
